Description
Found in mountainous regions, marble is a calcium carbonate-based stone formed by extreme heat and pressure resulting in a crystalline material. Every piece has veins of mineral patterns which make up its unique appearance. Easy to polish and excellent heat resistance, marble is a durable surface however it is porous and care must be taken, especially with acidic spills. Marble will develop its own patina over time depending on the level of care you give it.
